Renewable Energy at the ALBION Shirakami Research Institute

We are proud to announce that ALBION has joined the "Akita E-ne! Option Hydropower 100%", a sustainable initiative that helps companies reduce their CO2 emissions by switching to electric power. Since June 1, 2022, the ALBION Shirakami Research Institute has been using local hydroelectric power plants that do not emit CO2. This renewable energy is locally produced and consumed in Akita, Japan. We are committed to actively working towards a greener future through planet-friendly business practices.
